Me, the ol' lady and Hawaii

The love of my life and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversay on March 7 so we decided to take a trip to Hawaii. The Department of Defense runs a pretty cool place called the Hale Koa Hotel on Waikiki beach http://www.halekoa.com and being retired Army, I get to stay there.

The trip was fabulous. Even though I've been around the world a few times, I'm still not so jaded that I didn't think this place was fabulous. Just walking around seeing coconuts hanging off of palms trees (I'm from Texas) was a blast.
